Our next concert features selections from John Rutter’s The Sprig of Thyme and Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass with special guests. This program features two very different styles of music; Chorale is enjoying the variety, and we believe you will as well.

The Corpus Christi Chorale, with over 65 singers, starts in the British Isles with the folk-song settings by John Rutter. These charming folk songs tell stories of the stages of courting, with romantic references to nature.

Then we cross the Atlantic Ocean to America and experience the Mass in gospel style in Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass, with soloists Willie Heard and Ada Godley, and our “gospel band” Mike Mazzatenta (piano), Gregg Fielden (bass), and Matt McClung (drums).

We invite you to join us for a delightful and energizing evening of music! Tickets are available in advance from chorale member or at the door on concert night.
