4-19-2012: Celebrity Karaoke Fundraiser

Our first-ever fundraiser of this sort! Come out and see such local celebs as Rex Gabriel, Bart Bedsole, Rose Meza Harrison, Walter Furley and others, compete for top honors, while supporting the Corpus Christi Chorale, a non-profit organization that brings beautiful vocal music to the Coastal Bend.

Voting will be by monetary donation during each celebrity’s performance. A volunteer will walk from table to table collecting donations, and the celeb with the most money at the end of the evening is the winner. First, Second and Third Place winners will be named.

The celebrity performances will be rounded out by non-competitive performances by select members of the Chorale.

Additional ballots will be cast by the audience to name their own favorites, who will win prizes as well. This will be a tear-out ballot in the program and will be for ANY singer of the evening.

Your MC is Pete Lutz, and your Karaoke DJ is George Clower. Admission is $25.00 at the door. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar available.

TIME PERMITTING, we will have Open Mike Karaoke at the end of the festivities, for $5.00 per song.
