How I miss you all and singing in the Corpus Christi Chorale!

Sadly, I am no longer able to SEE well enough to read the music (due to botched cataract surgery back in September of 2013).

I am no longer able to SING well enough to sing with the CC Chorale (due to emergency endoscopic surgery for bleeding abdominal ulcers that nearly killed me in October of 2016 and again in June of 2017). I am grateful to God to still be alive!

I am now a wheelchair-bound amputee and pretty well house-bound so I do not get to come to your concerts or to the CCSO concerts any longer (not since the year after Maestro John Giordano retired). I can and do listen to the KEDT-FM simulcasts of the symphony concerts and enjoy them very much, especially when choral works are offered.

Arlene Long, I really miss singing under your fine direction and miss our friendship. I think of you often with much love and respect for who you are. Pax.

I remember well the wonderful concerts we all have sung together. They remain some of my most precious memories.

I wish you all the very best.

    KEEP SINGING!

    With much love and respect,

    Mary E. Walker

Curious as to when you hold auditions?

    • Tamara, thank you for your interest. We are in the final moments of the season. Our final concert is May 8th. We’d love to have you come see the performance so you get an idea of the work we do. Beyond that, the next season will begin in August. There should be updates on our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/corpuschristichorale/.
